Grease a standard cake pan with olive oil or butter and lightly dust with flour.
Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt, sugar, eggs, olive oil, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
Make the batter: Gradually stir the dry mixture into the wet until combined. Don’t overmix.
Add the chocolate chips: Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips with a spatula.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
