1large roasted red pepper drained (jarred or homemade), drained
1small chili pepper(or ½ tsp red chili flakes)

Instructions
Roast the pepper
Preheat your oven’s broiler.
Place the red pepper on a baking sheet and broil, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and blistered.
Transfer the pepper to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it steam for 10 minutes.
Peel off the skin and remove the seeds.
Blend the dip
In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, roasted red pepper, chili pepper or chili flakes, olive oil, yogurt (if using), vinegar or lemon juice, and garlic. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Adjust the spice level by adding more chili if desired.
Serve the tyrokafteri
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Garnish with a sprinkle of chili flakes or a few finely diced roasted peppers for added flair.
Serve with pita bread and vegetable sticks for dipping.
Notes
Use Greek feta made from sheep’s or goat’s milk for the best flavor and texture.
