Get the BookHow I Prepare This Marinade
This marinade is made with simple ingredients, including Greek yogurt (which acts as a tenderizer for the meat), as well as extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic.
The seasoning is done by mixing different spices, including cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
The recipe below is enough to marinate 500 grams to 1 kg of chicken, lamb, or beef (cut into pieces or whole)

Preparation of the Marinade:
Combine the ingredients:

In a medium-sized bowl, add the Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, turmeric (if using), salt, and pepper.
Stir everything together until well combined and smooth.
Marinate the meat and let it chill:

Add your meat to the bowl and toss it thoroughly in the marinade, making sure every piece is fully coated.
If you’re using whole cuts like chicken breasts or lamb chops, you can also use a large zip-lock bag or plastic wrap for marinating.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or seal the zip-lock bag.
Place the marinated meat in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 2 hours—overnight is even better for a deeper flavor. If you’re short on time, a 30-minute marinade can still yield great results, but the longer it marinates, the more tender and flavorful the meat will become.
Cook the meat:
Once the marinating time is complete, remove the meat from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking. Grill, roast, or pan-sear your meat to your desired doneness.
